I’m glad you found me here. Finding the right therapist can be a challenging task. There are a lot of approaches to therapy and having a good fit with your therapist is important! I hope some of the information here can help you decide if we might be a good fit.

It’s important that everyone feels welcome in therapy. There are many spaces in life where we are discouraged from showing our true selves. Spaces where we might mask or tone down who we are; therapy is not that kind of space. You are welcomed (even encouraged!) to show up exactly as you are. So here are some values that might help you decide if we could be a match:

Welcome

You are the expert on your life and values. Therapy is about your life. It is important to me that therapy is inclusive and welcoming to all. This means that I will be curious about your lived experience and work to challenge my own biases.

Your identity is yours to define. You get to decide what labels to use (or not use). Whether we're talking about gender, sexuality, race, or any other identity, that identity is welcome here.

You decide what's right for your body. Whether we're talking about abortion, gender affirming care, or dietary restrictions, you're the expert on your own body.

You get to decide your relationship style. Relationships are complex and there's no correct way "do relationships". Consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, monogamy; you get to decide how you want your relationship to look.

We all live within systems that influence our lives. We all have a constellation of systems that impact our lives. Sometimes these systems are supportive, sometimes they get in the way, and sometimes they are actively harmful.
